The screw screen SERTAMVIS is used in wastewater treatment, the treatment of urban effluents (treatment plants), industrial effluents (agrifood: canneries, fish industry – chemicals / pharmacy – mechanical & paper industry) and in processes.

The screw sieve SERTAMVIS may, as the elevating screen sieve SERTEL, be installed in a channel or in a steel housing.
The screen is semi-cylindrical on 225 degrees. The raw water flows through the screen, and the solid matter stopped is extracted by an Archimedes’ screw without central axis towards a discharge chute.
These sieves have a 35 ° inclination, in order for the screw to easily scrape up the matter.
SERTAMVIS may be used in many applications, however it is not advised to use it to treat very greasy wastewater or effluents with high fibre content, in which case we recommend the use of a curved sieve SERCOURB or an elevating screen sieve SERTEL.
The screw screen SERTAMVIS can be used in water pretreatment for a wide variety of applications and in unloading of water cleaning trucks.

SERTAMVIS is adapted to the presence of sand or pebbles.
It also has the advantage of inserting an in-line compaction unit at a lower cost, guaranteeing a dryness of around 30% on an urban effluent.
The sieve diameter is chosen according to the water flow rate to be treated and the grid slot. The standard diameters are: 300, 400, 500 and 600 mm.
Then, depending on the depth of the channel and the desired discharge height, the correct length is defined.
Useful length varies by 0,5 m stretch from 1,5 to 7 m and more.
The equipment is made of AISI 304 L stainless steel, except the no-axis Archimedes’ screw.
Up to a 2 mm slot the grid, manufactured with wire of triangular section. Further, we use perforated sheet metal.
Side flaps ensure the seal between the civil engineering and the grid.
Screws are made of high grade steel.
There are several diameters: 300, 390, 490, 590 mm, adapted to the screen diameter, and a nylon brush fixed on the surround ensures the cleaning. In the transportation zone, the screw diameter is 300 mm and there is a conic part when appropriate, between both.
The transport tube between the screw and the outlet is 323 mm in diameter. 4 removable attrition platters are set on its internal lower part.
The compaction area – optional – is equipped with a perforated metal sheet strainer and a draining pipe heading to the channel.
An articulated supporting foot, adjust- able in height, blocks the position of the equipment and if necessary allows to raise it up for maintenance of the grid or the brush.
