Liée d’un côté au motoréducteur par un axe, elle est libre de l’autre côté. Un berceau en polyéthylène de forte épaisseur assure d’une part un rôle de palier et d’autre part évite le couplage galvanique et l’abrasion avec l’acier inoxydable constituant l’auge.
