ELEVATOR SIEVE- Vertical SERTEL NVB
PRINCIPLE
The Vertcal SERTEL NVB has the same operation mode as SERTEL NVB, but set vertically in order to be installed in a circular or rectangular pump station.
In its lower part, a grid stops the
particles larger than the opening slot present in the flow, These
particles are continuously scraped towards an outlet chute.
DESIGN FEATURES
The Vertical SERTEL NVB sieves are composed of the following features, same as SERTEL NVB :
A housing made of stainless steel with 3 mm thick sheet, assembled mainly by bolts.
The removable filtering grid, is made of 5 mm stainless steel bars, set on edge.
Minimum opening is 10 mm.
The standard length of the grid is one meter, but can be modified on
request. The width of the grid depends on the flow rate, slot and water
draught in front of the grid.
The length is available from 1.5 to 10 meters, by 500mm steps. The
width is calculated according to the following flow rates but maximum width is 1500 mm.
Scraping system includes:
an axis and two stainless steel bearings, two stainless steel chains
with DELRIN rollers, between which supports are fixed carrying the metal
combs.
The absence of a lower axis leaves a totally open way towards the grid.
