PRINCIPLE

Especially developed for the transport of waste and mud resulting from the various processes, SERBAND conveyor belt combines effectiveness and longevity by using a PVC belt (standard model). (Smooth rubber tapes are well adapted for the transport of mud).

-         Two stainless steel boxes, thickness 3 mm, guide the belt.  This configuration ensures a good rigidity, favorable for the long conveyors.

-         From the maintenance point of view, the interventions for cleaning will be simplified and their number will be reduced since the return of the belt with cleats permanently scrapes the lower box.

An oblique scraper, placed on the return strand, ensures the cleaning of the interior face of the tape. 

DESIGN FEATURES

The structure of the conveyor is entirely made out of AISI 304 stainless steel. A hooding of the higher part of the conveyor is possible either out of stainless steel, or out of transparent polycarbonate.

DRIVING SYSTEM

·        The driving drum, covered with rubber, which ensures an excellent adherence, and the tail pulley, are entirely machined and made out of stainless steel. Their guidance in rotation is ensured by auto-aligned stages.

·        The moto-reductor is directly assembled on the driving drum; its power will be adapted to the application. The moving speed of the tape is approximately 0.5 m/s.

·        The tension of the tape is located at the head of the conveyor whereas the tail pulley is provided with a system of correction of alignment.

OPTIONAL EXTRA

·        For certain applications, PVC tape can be replaced by another type of tape: Smoothing + scraping tape for example.

·        For special applications, in particular for strong slopes, it is possible to use a tape with higher and closer intervals cleats.

·        An integral hooding of the conveyor is possible.

·        The length of the conveyor, the supporting feet, the receiving hopper and the output chute, are made upon request of the customer. It is also possible to integrate the conveyor on a wheel carriage allowing mobility and variable rise (particularly useful for the spreading of mud on the surfaces of storage).

·        An electrical panel can be provided.
