SCREW COMPACTOR SERCOMP machines ensure the compaction of filtered rejections in the wastewater treatment plants. By doing this, the SERCOMP compactor reduces of almost 50% the content of liquid in rejected waste.
PRINCIPLEAn Archimedes’ screw, which pushes the refusal in the filtering drum on which end a gate with springs maintains a backpressure, carries out the pressing. The drained water is recovered and then channelled towards the well of rising. DESIGN FEATURESSERCOMP machines consist of the following elements: · A casing out of stainless steel sheet with a higher opening corresponding to the working width of the sieve. In the lower part, a polyethylene doubling reduces frictions and the wear of the screw. · When the SERCOMP is supplied in complement of a SERTAM sieve, an integral hood on the filtering drum and the trough of the screw ensures a complete protection of staff. · A box with a screwed independent lid, containing the stainless steel 304 draining drum: - This drum (500 mm of length and 210 mm of internal diameter) consists of stainless steel triangular wires, of the same type as those used for the construction of the drums of sieves: - The wires laid out in "axial interior" are spaced out of 1 mm In its lower part, a tube with a 76 mm diameter recovers draining waters. A pipe, to connect to the water supply network of washing, is directed towards the mouth of the preceding tube to clean it · An outlet chute of compacted waste, in which the gate assembled on springs maintains the backpressure · An Archimedes' screw without central axis out of steel of strong resistance: - External diameter: 200 mm - Section: 60 X 15 mm This motorized screw on a side arrives approximately at the 4/5 of thefilter drum. · A moto-reductor of drive of the screw - Power 1,1 KW - Rotation speed 25 rpm · 4 feet out of stainless tube of 60 X 60 with mounting plates on the ground · OPTIONAL EXTRA: an intermediate tube between the boxes of reception and pressing, to convoy waste further can be added to the request
