FILTERING ROTATING DRUM WITH INTERNAL FEEDING

PRINCIPLE

In a TROMMEL, filtering drum built out of perforated sheet, the effluent is introduced at one end: water crosses the openings, while the solid matters selected are brought towards the other end by a helicoid ribbon interdependent of the drum. This forced advance of the refusal ensures a good draining.

APPLICATIONS

The TROMMELs are used in water treatment plants to filter the products of clearing out and the matters of sewage brought by tanker. They are generally calculated for a flow of about 50 m ³ /H and the diameter of the holes varies according to cases from 4 to 15 mm

DESIGN FEATURES

We describe hereafter the standard model, however upon request, we can manufacture apparatuses going up to 2 m in diameter and 6 m length.

STANDARD MODEL

Construction: 304 stainless steel 

· DRUM

- Æ = 1500 - L = 3500

- Out of perforated sheet of a 3 to 4 mm thickness according to the diameter of the openings.

- With external paths of bearing

-   Interior helicoid ribbon: H = 150mm - not = 500mm  

· Frame 

- Stainless steel with mounting plates

- Standard footing 2500 X 2500

- The frame carries 4 strong load wheels, out of painted cast iron, with hub with ball and binding polyurethane  

· drivING SYSTEM 

It is an originality of our apparatus, which completely eliminates any risk from sliding of the casters when they are driving, as it is the case in the usual systems.

In this case, the driving moto-reductor (1,8 KW - 15 rpm), provided with an arm of reaction, is assembled floating on the axis interdependent of a brace welded onto the TROMMEL on the exit side.

The efforts of the arm of reaction are taken back by a square, which is fixed either on the wall, or on the frame of the apparatus. 

· Effluent supply

When it is placed in a pit in civil engineering, for a feeding gravitating from the tanker, one stainless steel chute is provided.

Other feeding systems are possible.  

· SPRAY BAR

Interdependent of the frame, it consists of a stainless steel tube Æ 50 mm - L = 3000, with flat jet jets in polypropylene.

OPTIONAL EXTRA

A belt conveyor can be provided on request, to take back the refusal of the TROMMEL towards a bucket or a waste compactor.
