PRINCIPLE

It is a lifting sieve, functioning in the same way that the sieve SERTEL. It is placed in a channel of running water; the solid matters stopped by the grid are scrapped up by the scrapers.

This apparatus was designed with the main objective of lower its price compared to the SERTEL, so as to make it accessible for the small stations. This objective was achieved by choosing a single dimension (length, working width), by using a smaller engine like and by simplifying the system of tension.

Apart from the above, all the components are identical to the SERTEL .

DESIGN FEATURES

Lifting sieve ECOTEL consists of the following elements:

· A stainless sheet steel casing AISI 304, of length = 2m and overall width = 380 mm, to install with a slope of 60° in the channel

· A filter grid (AISI 304)

Length = 500 mm X width = 250 mm.

The grid is made of Triangular section wires.

The grid maintained by 2 screws, is very easy to replace in the event of damage.

· Scraping unit

For slots up to 3 mm, stainless wire brushes are used to scrape the grid and scrap the matters up to the chute of output.

For slots from 6 to 20 mm, polyethylene combs are used.

Scrapers fixed on 2 side chains carry these brushes or these combs. The distance between is about 1m.

The conveyor chains, built out of stainless steel with rollers in DELRIN, are driven by 2 gearwheels assembled on a stainless steel axis.

· Motorization

Engine: 0,25 KW - 380 v - Seal IP 55 - Class F

INSTALLATION AND OPERATION

The ECOTEL sieve, like its big brother the SERTEL, is very easy to install:

·        It is introduced into the channel, set at 60°, resting against the downstream edge of the channel (see diagram) or on a crosspiece, if the channel is open downstream

·        2 fixing braces are then pegged on the sides, against the sieve

·        The distance between the base of the channel and the ECOTEL is approximately 1,44 m

·        It is preferable to control the functioning of the sieve by gauges level placed upstream

APPLICATIONS

Purification stations - Slaughterhouses – Fruit and vegetable industry – Fish industry – Canning facilities - Wine industry – etc.

 OPTIONAL EXTRA:

·        Gauge level with support

·        Electrical panel
