TITLED SIEVE PRINCIPLE DESIGN FEATURES APPLICATIONS AND ADVANTAGES
The apparatus installed in a channel or a pit, functions without preliminary rising of water. In its lower part, a tilted flat grid stops the particles contained in the effluent, larger than the slot of the opening. These particles are scraped up in a continuous way by scrapers towards an outlet chute. The scrapers have stainless steel brushes for slots lower than 6mm. For 6 mm and higher slots we use polyethylene combs. The sieves screen cleaners SERTEL consist of the following elements: - A casing made of stainless steel AISI 304 3mm width sheet - The removable filtering grid consists of triangular section wires; this profile allows an optimal hydrodynamic flow The thickness of the wires and the space between the wires ranging from 0,2mm to 50 mm and more, are adapted to the problem to treat. The width of the grid depends on the flow. · Scraping system includes: - An axis and two gearwheels made of stainless steel - Two stainless steel chains of the handling type with DELRIN rollers, between which supports are fixed carrying the combs or the brushes - In the lower part and on each side frames, a fix cylinder made out of polyethylene, around which come to roll the rollers of the chains
The absence of a lower axis leaves to the effluent a totally open way towards the grid. APPLICATIONS AND ADVANTAGESThe sieves screen cleaners SERTEL are used in wastewater treatment (urban, industrial, agro-alimentary effluents) and in process. They are easy to install and require little maintenance. OPTIONAL EXTRA: - Electric box of command with gauge level - Construction with stainless steel 316 L on request - Possibility of integrating a waste compactor SERCOMP and of supplementing by a grease remover DAR or a flotation unit FLOT T
